Our Founder (1960-2025)
AGS Irrigation was founded in 1983 by Dr. George Rajan, a veterinarian who saw firsthand how inefficient traditional irrigation was for farmers.
Inspired by emerging drip technology, he started a local manufacturing unit in Tirunelveli to bring practical water‑saving solutions to his community.
Under his leadership, we grew into a trusted national brand for micro‑irrigation systems with headquarters in Chennai.
His philosophy—do right by the people around you—continues to guide how we design, build, and support every system we deliver
