Ever wonder what happens to your tax money?

Most of us pay our taxes and rarely see where that money actually goes, but in Krishnagiri, you'll see those funds working hard in the soil.

Through the PMKSY (Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana) scheme, your tax contributions helped Mr. Munuswamy transform 2 acres of dry land into a blooming button rose garden. We took over this field via the department of horticulture used this government support to install a world-class Drip Irrigation system by AGS Irrigation for his Button Rose farm.

What the weather!

The reality is that, the summer heat was a real nightmare. Watering 2 acres of roses with traditional methods was an impossible "big head-ache." — the water would simply dry up before reaching the entire field. But after our installation of drip irrigation, he has:

• Water Savings: He only needs to water 2 to 3 times using the drip lines, saving a massive amount of water in dry Krishnagiri.
• First-Class Yield: He is already harvesting 20-30 kg of fresh Button Roses every 2 days for the local garland markets.
• Better growth: Using the fertigation unit, he sends nutrients directly to the roots. It's like giving the roses their "Boost" and as the crops grow older, this yield will only increase.

Seeing 2 acres of bloom with roses given a beautiful red glow is proof that with the right support and assistance, magic happens. Mr. Munuswamy is a "Happy Farmer" today, and we can all be proud knowing our tax money helps build a more "Ever-Green" India.
